About Family Resource Networks
Provincial Family Resource Networks (FRNs) provide supports and services to help Alberta families become resilient, strong and healthy. Networks deliver prevention and early intervention services and supports for children and youth aged 0 to 18, as well as supports for parents and caregivers.

FRNs offer online and digital supports remotely to communities across Alberta, as well as in person.
The FRN program launched in April 2020 and aligns with the province’s Well-Being and Resiliency Framework. This framework helps us build towards an Alberta where individual, family and community strengths are recognized, and where all infants, children and youth are respected, valued and supported in their home communities.

There are 70 FRN hubs across Alberta, which help to coordinate services in different communities and geographical areas, and 136 qualified service agencies or providers. There are 35 hubs that serve rural communities, as well as 10 Indigenous hubs and one Francophone hub that serves both rural and urban communities.
